June 26
Process Improvement at Internet Speed

Presented by:
David Hsiao

Abstract

This presentation will provide an overview of Cisco Systems' nine-step quality improvement model (assess, scope, plan, resource, define, train, implement, measure, and celebrate) to achieve measurable, bottom-line impact quickly. The session will cover how Cisco distilled maturity level-focused process improvement methodologies into a results-oriented, concurrent quality improvement process that directly impacts product quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, revenue, and profit. Participants will hear of the trials and tribulations of each step, see the deliverables produced by each task, and learn the essential discriminators for experienced process guides to assure customer success.
